Many times, we see that we are unable to sync our bank accounts with our QuickBooks software. As a result, we are no longer able to carry out our business transactions directly from the QuickBooks software. Whenever we try to sync our bank account, an error message is displayed on our computer screen reading “Your Account could not be synced”.

There are a variety of ways to get rid of this issue. They are as follows:

METHOD 1: The first method is to make sure that we able to log-in to our bank account from our log-in credentials on our bank website. Open QuickBooks online and go to the chart of account. Then click on edit account and then on disconnect and save. Your bank account will be disconnected from your QuickBooks software. Now try to connect to your bank account once again from the dashboard. Hopefully, this will give you successful results.

METHOD 2:  The second way is to update QuickBooks and try to sync your bank account to your software once again. You can do this by opening QuickBooks and then clicking on the Update button present on top of the QuickBooks window at the rightmost corner. After the update process has completed itself, close the QuickBooks window and open it once again to check whether your bank account is syncing with QuickBooks or not.

METHOD 3: The third method is to check whether the password of your bank account has changed or not. If by chance, you have changed your bank account password, then it is necessary then you go to QuickBooks and update the password in the banking center as well. Otherwise, your bank account will not sync with your software. The steps to do so are as follows:

  • Open QuickBooks from the QuickBooks icon present on your Desktop screen.
  • Click on “edit sign-in info”.
  • A new window will appear where you will be able to update your password.

METHOD 4: The fourth method is to check whether the bank feed connection has become corrupted or not. In that case, you will have to disconnect your account from QuickBooks and reconnect it once again.

If none of the above-mentioned methods prove to be successful, then you will have to contact your bank and tell them about this problem. They will be able to help you out.
